Zainab's family has one very old recipe card. It has her great-grandmother's bread recipe on it. They use it only on special days.

Today is a special family lunch. Zainab looks in the recipe box for the card. The card is not in its usual place.

She looks through every kitchen drawer. She checks the counter and the shelf. No one can find the old card.

Zainab feels a wave of worry. Lunch is only one hour away. The bread cannot happen without the card.

She asks her family members for help. Her father checks the living room shelves. Her mother checks the boxes in the hallway.
