Hassan's coworker Nessa asks for help finishing a big report. The deadline is tomorrow morning.
हसन की सहकर्मी नेसा उससे एक बड़ी रिपोर्ट पूरी करने में मदद माँगती है। रिपोर्ट की समय-सीमा कल सुबह है।
At the same time, Hassan's sister Keiko plans a family dinner tonight. Everyone will be there.
उसी समय, हसन की बहन केइको आज रात परिवार के डिनर की योजना बना रही है। सब लोग वहाँ होंगे।
"I really need your help," Nessa says. "I can't finish this alone by morning."
"मुझे सच में तुम्हारी मदद चाहिए," नेसा कहती है। "मैं यह सुबह तक अकेले पूरी नहीं कर सकती।"
Hassan checks the clock. It's already five thirty. The dinner starts at seven.

"I promised my sister I'd be there," Hassan says. "But I don't want to leave you stuck."
"मैंने अपनी बहन से वादा किया था कि मैं वहाँ रहूँगा," हसन कहता है। "लेकिन मैं तुम्हें अटका हुआ भी नहीं छोड़ना चाहता।"
Nessa looks at the pile of papers on her desk. "I understand if you need to go," she says.

Hassan thinks for a minute. He calls Keiko. "I'm going to be a little late tonight," he says.
हसन एक मिनट सोचता है। वह केइको को फ़ोन करता है। "आज रात मुझे थोड़ी देर हो जाएगी," वह कहता है।
"That's fine," Keiko says. "Just come when you can. We'll save you a plate."
"कोई बात नहीं," केइको कहती है। "जब आ सको, आ जाना। हम तुम्हारे लिए एक प्लेट रख लेंगे।"
Hassan turns back to Nessa. "Let's work fast," he says. "I can stay for one hour."

They split the report into two parts and work quickly. At six thirty, they finish the last page.

"Thank you so much," Nessa says. "I needed your help tonight."

Hassan grabs his coat and rushes to catch the bus. He arrives at the dinner just as everyone sits down to eat.
