Perla landed after a short flight and grabbed her bag. She pulled a black carry-on from the overhead bin. It looked just like hers, with the same gray handle.
छोटी उड़ान के बाद पर्ला उतरी और उसने अपना बैग लिया। उसने ऊपर के केबिन से एक काला कैरी-ऑन बैग निकाला। वह बिल्कुल उसके बैग जैसा दिखता था, वैसा ही स्लेटी हैंडल।
Perla walked off the plane and through the terminal. At the taxi line, she opened the bag. She looked for her wallet inside.
पर्ला विमान से उतरकर टर्मिनल से होती हुई बाहर चली गई। टैक्सी की क़तार में उसने बैग खोला। वह अंदर अपना बटुआ ढूँढ़ने लगी।
Inside, she found a man's shirts and a book. "This isn't my bag," Perla said out loud.
अंदर उसे एक आदमी की कमीज़ें और एक किताब मिलीं। "यह मेरा बैग नहीं है," पर्ला ने ज़ोर से कहा।
She checked the tag. The name said Joaquin. Perla looked at the gate agent nearby.
उसने टैग देखा। उस पर नाम लिखा था जोआकिन। पर्ला ने पास खड़े गेट एजेंट की ओर देखा।
"I think I took the wrong bag," she said.
"मुझे लगता है मैंने ग़लत बैग उठा लिया," उसने कहा।
The agent called the airline's lost and found desk. A man ran up to the desk minutes later. "Did anyone find a black bag?" he asked.
एजेंट ने एयरलाइन के खोया-पाया डेस्क को फ़ोन किया। कुछ ही मिनट बाद एक आदमी भागता हुआ डेस्क पर आया। "क्या किसी को एक काला बैग मिला है?" उसने पूछा।
"That's Joaquin," the agent said, and pointed at Perla.
"यह जोआकिन हैं," एजेंट ने कहा और पर्ला की ओर इशारा किया।
Perla held up the bag with a small smile. "I think this is yours," she said.
पर्ला ने हल्की मुस्कान के साथ बैग ऊपर उठाया। "मुझे लगता है यह आपका है," उसने कहा।
Joaquin checked the tag and laughed. "And this one must be yours," he said. He held up her bag.
जोआकिन ने टैग देखा और हँस पड़ा। "और यह वाला आपका होगा," उसने कहा। उसने उसका बैग ऊपर उठाकर दिखाया।
They traded bags right there at the desk. Perla opened her own bag and found her wallet inside. Both of them checked their tags twice before leaving.
