Hannah gets up late for school. Today is picture day at school.
हैना स्कूल के लिए देर से उठती है। आज स्कूल में फ़ोटो का दिन है।
She gets dressed fast. She opens her sock drawer and grabs two socks.
वह जल्दी से तैयार होती है। वह अपनी मोज़ों की दराज़ खोलती है और दो मोज़े उठा लेती है।
She eats breakfast fast and runs to catch the bus. She sits down next to her friend Tess.
वह जल्दी से नाश्ता करती है और बस पकड़ने के लिए दौड़ती है। वह अपनी दोस्त टेस के पास बैठ जाती है।
Tess looks down at Hannah's legs and laughs. "Hannah, look at your socks!"
टेस हैना के पैरों की ओर देखती है और हँस पड़ती है। "हैना, अपने मोज़े तो देखो!"
Hannah looks down too. One sock is blue. The other sock is green.
हैना भी नीचे देखती है। एक मोज़ा नीला है। दूसरा मोज़ा हरा है।
"Oh no," Hannah says. "I did not see this at home."
"अरे नहीं," हैना कहती है। "घर पर मुझे यह दिखा ही नहीं।"
"Pictures start at nine," Tess says. "What will you do now?"

Hannah thinks for a minute. "I have gym socks in my bag," she says. "They are both white."
हैना एक मिनट सोचती है। "मेरे बैग में जिम वाले मोज़े हैं," वह कहती है। "दोनों सफ़ेद हैं।"
The bus stops at school. Hannah and Tess walk inside together.

Hannah goes to the bathroom before the pictures start. She takes off the odd socks.

She puts on the white gym socks instead. Now both socks match.

Hannah puts her old socks in her bag. She walks to the gym for her picture.

She stands in line with her class. Tess waves at her from across the room.

"Next!" calls the woman with the camera.

Hannah steps up and smiles for her picture.
