Ivy walks into Room 204 for her Monday science class. The room looks strange today.
Ivy entra na Sala 204 para a aula de ciências de segunda-feira. A sala parece estranha hoje.
All the desks are gone. Only empty shelves stand in their place.
Todas as carteiras sumiram. Só há prateleiras vazias no lugar delas.
Ivy checks her school schedule app again. It still says Room 204, second period.
Ivy confere de novo o aplicativo de horários da escola. Ele ainda diz Sala 204, segundo período.
Other students arrive in small groups. They laugh and talk, but no one understands why.
Outros alunos chegam em pequenos grupos. Eles riem e conversam, mas ninguém entende o motivo.
"Maybe we are in the wrong place," says her friend Wyatt.
"Talvez estejamos no lugar errado", diz o amigo dela, Wyatt.
Ivy looks at the room number by the door. It clearly says 204.
Ivy olha para o número da sala ao lado da porta. Está bem claro: 204.
She walks to the school office to ask. The secretary checks the computer screen.
Ela vai até a secretaria da escola para perguntar. A secretária confere a tela do computador.
"Room 204 moved to the second floor this week," the secretary says. "We sent an email on Friday."
"A Sala 204 mudou para o segundo andar esta semana", diz a secretária. "Nós mandamos um e-mail na sexta-feira."
Ivy checks her email on her phone. There it is, one message she never opened.
Ivy confere o e-mail no celular. Lá está: uma mensagem que ela nunca abriu.
She thanks the secretary and runs to find Wyatt. "Follow me," she says. "We have the wrong floor."
Ela agradece à secretária e corre para encontrar Wyatt. "Me segue", ela diz. "A gente está no andar errado."
They climb the stairs together and find the real Room 204. The teacher stands at the board, ready to start.
Eles sobem as escadas juntos e encontram a verdadeira Sala 204. O professor está de pé no quadro, pronto para começar.
"Sorry we're late," Ivy says. "We didn't see the email about the room change."
"Desculpe o atraso", Ivy diz. "A gente não viu o e-mail sobre a mudança de sala."
