Kenji reads the after-school sign-up sheet. Two clubs meet on the same day. He likes both of them a lot.
केंजी स्कूल के बाद वाले क्लबों की साइन-अप शीट पढ़ता है। दो क्लब एक ही दिन लगते हैं। उसे दोनों बहुत पसंद हैं।
The robotics club builds small robots every week. The choir sings songs for the winter concert. Kenji loves building things.
रोबोटिक्स क्लब हर हफ़्ते छोटे रोबोट बनाता है। कोयर यानी गायक-मंडली सर्दियों के कॉन्सर्ट के लिए गाने गाती है। केंजी को चीज़ें बनाना बहुत पसंद है।
He also loves music, but not as much. He thinks about his afternoons this year. Robotics practice runs twice a week.
उसे संगीत भी पसंद है, पर उतना नहीं। वह इस साल की अपनी दोपहरों के बारे में सोचता है। रोबोटिक्स की प्रैक्टिस हफ़्ते में दो बार होती है।
Choir practice runs three times a week. Kenji wants time for homework too. He makes a small list on paper.
कोयर की प्रैक्टिस हफ़्ते में तीन बार होती है। केंजी को होमवर्क के लिए भी समय चाहिए। वह काग़ज़ पर एक छोटी-सी सूची बनाता है।
"Robots" goes on one side. "Songs" goes on the other side. He counts the hours for each club.
एक तरफ़ "रोबोट" लिखा जाता है। दूसरी तरफ़ "गाने"। वह हर क्लब के घंटे गिनता है।
His friend Nyla asks him at lunch. "Which club do you like?" she says. "Robots, but I like singing too," Kenji says.
लंच में उसकी दोस्त नायला उससे पूछती है। "तुम्हें कौन-सा क्लब पसंद है?" वह कहती है। "रोबोट, पर मुझे गाना भी पसंद है," केंजी कहता है।
"Then pick the one that fits your week," Nyla says. Kenji looks at his list again.
"तो वही चुनो जो तुम्हारे हफ़्ते में फ़िट बैठे," नायला कहती है। केंजी अपनी सूची को फिर से देखता है।
He picks up a pen and circles "Robotics." He walks to the sign-up sheet after school.

He writes his name under the robotics list. He feels good about his choice.
वह रोबोटिक्स की सूची के नीचे अपना नाम लिख देता है। उसे अपने फ़ैसले पर अच्छा लग रहा है।
Kenji walks straight to the robotics room. He sits down next to two new teammates.
