Directions for a Visitor

Bruno works at a shop in the city center. He knows the streets very well. Every day, people ask him for directions. Today, a woman stops him on the street.

Bruno trabaja en una tienda en el centro de la ciudad. Conoce muy bien las calles. Todos los días, la gente le pide direcciones. Hoy, una mujer lo detiene en la calle.

She holds a map and looks unsure. "Excuse me," she says. "Can you help me?"

Ella sostiene un mapa y se ve insegura. «Disculpe», dice. «¿Puede ayudarme?»

"Of course," Bruno says. "Where do you want to go?"

«Claro», dice Bruno. «¿A dónde quiere ir?»

"I need the museum," Keiko says. "I can't find it."

«Necesito llegar al museo», dice Keiko. «No puedo encontrarlo».

"No problem," Bruno says. "It's two streets from here."

«No hay problema», dice Bruno. «Está a dos calles de aquí».

"Really? I walked around for twenty minutes," Keiko says. "I feel very lost."

«¿En serio? Caminé por veinte minutos», dice Keiko. «Me siento muy perdida».

"Follow me," Bruno says. "I know a fast way."

«Sígame», dice Bruno. «Conozco un camino rápido».

They walk together down the street. Bruno points to a big clock tower.

Caminan juntos por la calle. Bruno señala una gran torre del reloj.

"The museum is next to that tower," he says.

«El museo está junto a esa torre», dice él.

Keiko looks at the tower. "Now I see it," she says.

Keiko mira la torre. «Ahora la veo», dice.

They cross the street at the light. Bruno stops in front of the museum doors.

Cruzan la calle en el semáforo. Bruno se detiene frente a las puertas del museo.

"Here is the museum," Bruno says. "It opens in ten minutes."

«Aquí está el museo», dice Bruno. «Abre en diez minutos».

"Thank you so much," Keiko says. "You are very helpful."

«Muchas gracias», dice Keiko. «Usted es muy amable».

"You're welcome," Bruno says. "I like to help people."

«De nada», dice Bruno. «Me gusta ayudar a la gente».
