On Saturday morning, Rafa took his dog to the park. The dog was small and brown. His name was Biscuit.
No sábado de manhã, Rafa levou o cachorro ao parque. O cachorro era pequeno e marrom. O nome dele era Biscuit.
The sun was warm, and the park was full. Rafa threw a ball. Biscuit ran after it.
O sol estava quente e o parque estava cheio. Rafa jogou uma bola. Biscuit correu atrás dela.
Then Rafa looked at the gate. "Biscuit! Come here!" he called.
Então Rafa olhou para o portão. "Biscuit! Venha aqui!", chamou.
Two dogs ran to him. One was his small brown dog. The other was a big white dog.
Dois cachorros correram até ele. Um era o seu cachorrinho marrom. O outro era um cachorro grande e branco.
Rafa stood still. "That is not my dog," he thought. A woman ran to them. "Sorry!" she said. "My dog loves to meet new people."
Rafa ficou parado. "Aquele não é o meu cachorro", pensou. Uma mulher correu até eles. "Desculpe!", disse ela. "Meu cachorro adora conhecer gente nova."
"What is his name?" Rafa asked.
"Qual é o nome dele?", perguntou Rafa.
"Biscuit," she said.
"Biscuit", ela disse.
Rafa laughed. "My dog is Biscuit, too!" The woman laughed with him. Her name was Effie. They sat on a bench. The two dogs played in the grass.
Rafa riu. "O meu cachorro também é Biscuit!" A mulher riu com ele. O nome dela era Effie. Eles se sentaram num banco. Os dois cachorros brincaram na grama.
They talked about dogs, food, and work. Once, Rafa called "Biscuit!" and both dogs looked up. They laughed again. The time went fast.
Eles conversaram sobre cachorros, comida e trabalho. Uma vez, Rafa chamou "Biscuit!" e os dois cachorros levantaram a cabeça. Eles riram de novo. O tempo passou rápido.
At noon, Effie stood up. "Do you come here every Saturday?" she asked.
Ao meio-dia, Effie se levantou. "Você vem aqui todo sábado?", perguntou ela.
"Now I do," Rafa said. "Same time next week?"
"Agora venho", disse Rafa. "No mesmo horário na semana que vem?"
"Yes," she said. "I bring Biscuit."
"Sim", ela disse. "Eu trago o Biscuit."
"I bring Biscuit, too," Rafa said.
"Eu também trago o Biscuit", disse Rafa.
