On Saturday morning, Rafa took his dog to the park. The dog was small and brown. His name was Biscuit.
शनिवार की सुबह रफ़ा अपने कुत्ते को पार्क ले गया। कुत्ता छोटा और भूरा था। उसका नाम बिस्कुट था।
The sun was warm, and the park was full. Rafa threw a ball. Biscuit ran after it.
धूप गुनगुनी थी, और पार्क भरा हुआ था। रफ़ा ने गेंद फेंकी। बिस्कुट उसके पीछे दौड़ा।
Then Rafa looked at the gate. "Biscuit! Come here!" he called.
फिर रफ़ा ने गेट की ओर देखा। "बिस्कुट! यहाँ आओ!" उसने पुकारा।
Two dogs ran to him. One was his small brown dog. The other was a big white dog.
दो कुत्ते दौड़कर उसके पास आए। एक उसका छोटा भूरा कुत्ता था। दूसरा एक बड़ा सफ़ेद कुत्ता था।
Rafa stood still. "That is not my dog," he thought. A woman ran to them. "Sorry!" she said. "My dog loves to meet new people."
रफ़ा ठिठककर खड़ा रह गया। "यह मेरा कुत्ता नहीं है," उसने सोचा। एक औरत दौड़कर उनके पास आई। "सॉरी!" उसने कहा। "मेरे कुत्ते को नए लोगों से मिलना बहुत पसंद है।"
"What is his name?" Rafa asked.
"इसका नाम क्या है?" रफ़ा ने पूछा।
"Biscuit," she said.
"बिस्कुट," उसने कहा।
Rafa laughed. "My dog is Biscuit, too!" The woman laughed with him. Her name was Effie. They sat on a bench. The two dogs played in the grass.
रफ़ा हँस पड़ा। "मेरे कुत्ते का नाम भी बिस्कुट है!" औरत भी उसके साथ हँस पड़ी। उसका नाम एफ़ी था। वे एक बेंच पर बैठ गए। दोनों कुत्ते घास में खेलते रहे।
They talked about dogs, food, and work. Once, Rafa called "Biscuit!" and both dogs looked up. They laughed again. The time went fast.
उन्होंने कुत्तों, खाने और काम के बारे में बातें कीं। एक बार रफ़ा ने "बिस्कुट!" पुकारा और दोनों कुत्तों ने सिर उठाकर देखा। वे फिर हँस पड़े। समय तेज़ी से बीत गया।
At noon, Effie stood up. "Do you come here every Saturday?" she asked.
दोपहर में एफ़ी उठ खड़ी हुई। "क्या आप हर शनिवार यहाँ आते हैं?" उसने पूछा।
"Now I do," Rafa said. "Same time next week?"
"अब से आऊँगा," रफ़ा ने कहा। "अगले हफ़्ते इसी समय?"
"Yes," she said. "I bring Biscuit."
"हाँ," उसने कहा। "मैं बिस्कुट को लाऊँगी।"
"I bring Biscuit, too," Rafa said.
"मैं भी बिस्कुट को लाऊँगा," रफ़ा ने कहा।
