The Job Interview

Talia wakes up early. She is going to have a job interview today. She feels nervous but ready.

Talia acorda cedo. Ela vai ter uma entrevista de emprego hoje. Ela se sente nervosa, mas pronta.

She puts on her best clothes and looks in the mirror. She practices her answers one more time.

Talia takes the bus to the office building. The company makes websites and apps for small businesses.

Talia pega o ônibus até o prédio da empresa. A empresa cria sites e aplicativos para pequenas empresas.

She walks into the lobby and gives her name to the receptionist. The receptionist smiles and asks her to wait.

Ela entra na recepção e diz seu nome para a recepcionista. A recepcionista sorri e pede para ela esperar.

A few minutes later, a man walks over. "Hi, I'm David," he says. "I'm the hiring manager here."

They shake hands, and David leads her to a small meeting room. They both sit down at the table.
