The Job Interview

Talia goes to a job interview at a small design company and hopes to get the position.
Talia wakes up early. She is going to have a job interview today. She feels nervous but ready.
She puts on her best clothes and looks in the mirror. She practices her answers one more time.
Talia takes the bus to the office building. The company makes websites and apps for small businesses.
She walks into the lobby and gives her name to the receptionist. The receptionist smiles and asks her to wait.
A few minutes later, a man walks over. "Hi, I'm David," he says. "I'm the hiring manager here."
They shake hands, and David leads her to a small meeting room. They both sit down at the table.
"So, tell me about yourself," David says. Talia feels nervous and starts to speak.
She talks about her old job and the skills she learned there. David listens and takes some notes.
"Why do you want to work here?" David asks. Talia explains that she loves creative work and teamwork.
David asks a few more questions about her experience. Talia answers clearly, and she does not rush.
Near the end, David explains the job in more detail. He talks about the team and the daily tasks.
"Do you have any questions for me?" he asks. Talia asks about the company's future plans.
David smiles and says the interview went well. "We will call you next week," he says.
Talia thanks him and leaves the building. She feels proud, because she did her best.
On the bus, she calls her sister about it. She hopes she will get the job.
