Ines works as an intern at a busy office. Her job today is simple: sort old files for recycling.
Ines bekerja sebagai peserta magang di sebuah kantor yang sibuk. Tugasnya hari ini sederhana: memilah berkas lama untuk didaur ulang.
She empties one folder into a big bin. Papers, forms, and old notes fall inside. She grabs the next folder.
Ia mengosongkan satu map ke dalam tempat sampah besar. Kertas, formulir, dan catatan lama berjatuhan ke dalamnya. Ia mengambil map berikutnya.
Something catches her eye in the bin. It is a form with a manager's signature line. The line is empty.
Sesuatu menarik perhatiannya di dalam tempat sampah itu. Sebuah formulir dengan kolom tanda tangan manajer. Kolom itu kosong.
Ines picks the form back up. She reads the top of the page. It says "Vendor Contract - Needs Signature."
Ines mengambil kembali formulir itu. Ia membaca bagian atas halamannya. Tertulis "Kontrak Pemasok - Perlu Tanda Tangan."
She checks the date on the form. The contract ends this Friday. Nobody signed it yet.
Ia memeriksa tanggal di formulir itu. Kontraknya berakhir Jumat ini. Belum ada yang menandatanganinya.
Ines walks to her manager's desk. "I found this in the recycling," she says. "It still needs a signature."
Ines berjalan ke meja manajernya. "Saya menemukan ini di tempat daur ulang," katanya. "Ini masih perlu ditandatangani."
Her manager looks at the paper. His face changes fast. "This is important," he says. "Thank you for checking."
Manajernya melihat kertas itu. Wajahnya langsung berubah. "Ini penting," katanya. "Terima kasih sudah memeriksanya."
He signs the form right away. He sends it to the vendor before lunch.
Ia langsung menandatangani formulir itu. Ia mengirimkannya ke pemasok sebelum makan siang.
"Good catch, Ines," he says. "That was almost a big problem."
"Temuan yang bagus, Ines," katanya. "Tadi hampir saja jadi masalah besar."
Ines returns to her desk. She checks every folder carefully after that.
Ines kembali ke mejanya. Setelah itu, ia memeriksa setiap map dengan teliti.
