The Phone Plan Decision

Ekon needed a new phone plan for school. His old plan ran out of data every month. He walked into the phone store after class.

Ekon membutuhkan paket telepon baru untuk sekolah. Paket lamanya kehabisan data setiap bulan. Sepulang kelas, ia masuk ke toko ponsel.

A worker named Xiomara greeted him at the counter. "My data runs out fast," Ekon said. "What plans do you have?"

Seorang pegawai bernama Xiomara menyambutnya di meja layanan. "Data saya cepat habis," kata Ekon. "Paket apa saja yang Ibu punya?"

Xiomara showed him two plans on her tablet. "This plan gives ten gigabytes," she said. "It costs thirty dollars a month."

Xiomara menunjukkan dua paket di tabletnya. "Paket ini memberi sepuluh gigabita," katanya. "Harganya tiga puluh dolar per bulan."

She pointed at the second plan. "This plan gives twenty gigabytes. It costs forty dollars a month."

Ia menunjuk paket yang kedua. "Paket ini memberi dua puluh gigabita. Harganya empat puluh dolar per bulan."

Ekon thought about his days. He often watched videos. He used maps every day.

Ekon memikirkan hari-harinya. Ia sering menonton video. Ia memakai peta setiap hari.

He needed a big plan. "I want the second plan," Ekon said.

Ia butuh paket yang besar. "Saya mau paket yang kedua," kata Ekon.

"Good choice," Xiomara said. "That plan works well for you." She typed his information into the computer.

"Pilihan bagus," kata Xiomara. "Paket itu cocok untukmu." Ia mengetik data Ekon ke komputer.

Ekon paid for the new plan. He put his phone back in his pocket. He left the store and smiled.

Ekon membayar paket barunya. Ia memasukkan ponselnya kembali ke saku. Ia keluar dari toko sambil tersenyum.

He called a friend outside. "I picked the twenty-gigabyte plan," he said. His friend asked him about the price.

Di luar, ia menelepon seorang teman. "Aku memilih paket dua puluh gigabita," katanya. Temannya menanyakan harganya.
