The Phone Plan Decision

Ekon needed a new phone plan for school. His old plan ran out of data every month. He walked into the phone store after class.

Ekon cần một gói cước điện thoại mới cho việc học. Gói cước cũ của cậu hết dữ liệu mỗi tháng. Cậu bước vào cửa hàng điện thoại sau giờ học.

A worker named Xiomara greeted him at the counter. "My data runs out fast," Ekon said. "What plans do you have?"

Một nhân viên tên Xiomara ra đón cậu tại quầy. "Dữ liệu của em hết nhanh quá," Ekon nói. "Cửa hàng có những gói cước nào vậy?"

Xiomara showed him two plans on her tablet. "This plan gives ten gigabytes," she said. "It costs thirty dollars a month."

Xiomara cho cậu xem hai gói cước trên máy tính bảng. "Gói này cho mười gigabyte," cô nói. "Giá ba mươi đô la một tháng."

She pointed at the second plan. "This plan gives twenty gigabytes. It costs forty dollars a month."

Cô chỉ vào gói thứ hai. "Gói này cho hai mươi gigabyte. Giá bốn mươi đô la một tháng."

Ekon thought about his days. He often watched videos. He used maps every day.

He needed a big plan. "I want the second plan," Ekon said.

Cậu cần một gói lớn. "Em muốn gói thứ hai," Ekon nói.

"Good choice," Xiomara said. "That plan works well for you." She typed his information into the computer.

"Lựa chọn tốt đấy," Xiomara nói. "Gói đó rất phù hợp với em." Cô nhập thông tin của cậu vào máy tính.

Ekon paid for the new plan. He put his phone back in his pocket. He left the store and smiled.

Ekon trả tiền cho gói cước mới. Cậu bỏ điện thoại lại vào túi. Cậu bước ra khỏi cửa hàng và mỉm cười.

He called a friend outside. "I picked the twenty-gigabyte plan," he said. His friend asked him about the price.
