The Paint Color

Henry and Claire move into a new house. They want to paint one room. They can not agree on the color.

Henry dan Claire pindah ke rumah baru. Mereka ingin mengecat satu ruangan. Mereka tidak sepakat soal warnanya.

Henry likes a soft blue color. Claire likes a warm yellow color. They go to the paint shop together.

Henry suka warna biru lembut. Claire suka warna kuning hangat. Mereka pergi ke toko cat bersama-sama.

The shop has many paint cards. Henry holds up a blue card. Claire holds up a yellow card.

Toko itu punya banyak kartu warna. Henry mengangkat kartu biru. Claire mengangkat kartu kuning.

"The blue is calm," Henry says. "The yellow is warm and bright," Claire says.

"Biru itu menenangkan," kata Henry. "Kuning itu hangat dan cerah," kata Claire.

They can not choose one color. They ask the shop worker for help. The worker shows them a green card.

Mereka tidak bisa memilih satu warna. Mereka meminta bantuan pegawai toko. Pegawai itu menunjukkan kartu hijau.

Henry and Claire do not want green. They want their own colors. They look at the cards again.

Henry dan Claire tidak mau hijau. Mereka ingin warna pilihan mereka sendiri. Mereka melihat kartu-kartu itu lagi.

Claire has an idea. "We can paint one wall blue," she says. "We can paint the other wall yellow."

Claire punya ide. "Kita bisa mengecat satu dinding biru," katanya. "Dinding yang lain kita cat kuning."

Henry smiles at the idea. "That is a good plan," he says. They buy both paint cans.

Henry tersenyum mendengar ide itu. "Itu rencana yang bagus," katanya. Mereka membeli kedua kaleng cat itu.

They drive home with the paint cans. They open the cans in the small room. Henry paints the first wall blue.

Mereka pulang membawa kaleng-kaleng cat itu. Mereka membuka kalengnya di ruangan kecil itu. Henry mengecat dinding pertama dengan warna biru.
