Damaris went to her coworker's wedding on Saturday. The room was full of family and old friends. She only knew the bride and groom well.
शनिवार को दामारिस अपनी सहकर्मी की शादी में गई। कमरा परिवार और पुराने दोस्तों से भरा था। वह सिर्फ़ दुल्हन और दूल्हे को अच्छी तरह जानती थी।
At table nine, she noticed a quiet man sitting alone. He wore a nice suit. He looked uncomfortable in the crowd.
मेज़ नंबर नौ पर उसने एक शांत आदमी को अकेले बैठे देखा। उसने अच्छा सूट पहना था। वह भीड़ में असहज लग रहा था।
Damaris walked over and sat down beside him. "I don't think we know each other," she said. "I'm Damaris. I work with the groom."
दामारिस उसके पास गई और उसके बग़ल में बैठ गई। "मुझे नहीं लगता कि हम एक-दूसरे को जानते हैं," उसने कहा। "मैं दामारिस हूँ। मैं दूल्हे के साथ काम करती हूँ।"
"I'm Aurelio," he said. "I came with my sister. She's the bride's old roommate."

"That's a good reason to be here," Damaris said. She smiled warmly. "Do you know anyone else at this wedding?"

"I don't know many people here," Aurelio admitted.

"Well, now you know me," Damaris said. "Do you want to dance? The band just started."

Aurelio smiled for the first time. "Yes, let's dance," he said.

They danced through two whole songs. Aurelio was a good dancer, too.

Damaris introduced him to her table of friends. Aurelio told a funny story about his sister. The whole table laughed together.

Near the end of the night, Aurelio found Damaris again. "Thank you for talking to me first," he said. "Can I call you sometime?"
रात के आख़िर में ऑरेलियो ने दामारिस को फिर ढूँढ़ लिया। "सबसे पहले मुझसे बात करने के लिए शुक्रिया," उसने कहा। "क्या मैं तुम्हें कभी फ़ोन कर सकता हूँ?"
Damaris smiled and pulled out her phone. "Give me your number," she said. "Let's dance again next time."
दामारिस मुस्कुराई और उसने अपना फ़ोन निकाला। "अपना नंबर दो," उसने कहा। "अगली बार फिर नाचेंगे।"
The next weekend, Aurelio called Damaris as promised. They met for coffee near her office. It was an easy, fun date.
अगले हफ़्ते के अंत में ऑरेलियो ने वादे के मुताबिक़ दामारिस को फ़ोन किया। वे उसके दफ़्तर के पास कॉफ़ी पर मिले। वह एक सहज, मज़ेदार मुलाक़ात थी।
