Ivan gets home from work on Tuesday.
मंगलवार को इवान काम से घर आता है।
A big box sits by his door.
उसके दरवाज़े के पास एक बड़ा डिब्बा रखा है।
He picks up the box and looks at it.

The name on the box says "Paula Reyes."

Ivan does not know a Paula Reyes.

He checks the address again.

Ivan carries the box down the hall.

He knocks on the door of 4B.

A woman opens the door with a smile.
एक औरत मुस्कुराते हुए दरवाज़ा खोलती है।
"Hi, are you Paula?" Ivan asks.
"नमस्ते, क्या आप पॉला हैं?" इवान पूछता है।
"Yes, that's me," she says.
"हाँ, मैं ही हूँ," वह कहती है।
"I think this box is yours," he says.
"मुझे लगता है यह डिब्बा आपका है," वह कहता है।
Paula looks at the label and smiles.
पॉला लेबल देखती है और मुस्कुराती है।
"Oh, my new lamp! Thank you so much."
"अरे, मेरा नया लैंप! बहुत-बहुत शुक्रिया।"
"The driver left it at my door," Ivan says.
"ड्राइवर इसे मेरे दरवाज़े पर छोड़ गया था," इवान कहता है।
"That happens a lot in this building," Paula says.
"इस बिल्डिंग में ऐसा अक्सर होता है," पॉला कहती है।
She takes the box from his hands.
वह उसके हाथों से डिब्बा ले लेती है।
"Would you like to come in for tea?" Paula asks.

Ivan smiles and nods his head.
इवान मुस्कुराता है और सिर हिलाता है।
"Sure, I have some time," he says.

They sit at her small kitchen table.

Paula opens the box and finds her lamp.
पॉला डिब्बा खोलती है और अपना लैंप निकालती है।
"It's perfect for my reading chair," she says.

"I'm glad it found the right home," Ivan says.

Paula laughs and pours two cups of tea.
पॉला हँसती है और दो प्यालों में चाय डालती है।
"Neighbors should help each other," she says.
"पड़ोसियों को एक-दूसरे की मदद करनी चाहिए," वह कहती है।
"I agree completely," Ivan says with a smile.
