Zane gets a meeting invite for Thursday at ten. The subject line just says "Team Meeting." He assumes it means hiring.
Zane recibe una invitación a una reunión para el jueves a las diez. El asunto solo dice «Reunión de equipo». Él supone que se trata de contrataciones.
Roshni gets the exact same invite. She assumes it means the yearly budget. Both start preparing different materials.

Zane makes a slide about three new job openings. Roshni makes a spreadsheet about department costs. Neither checks with the other person.

Thursday morning arrives, and both walk into the room. Zane opens his laptop first. "I have the hiring slides ready," he says.

Roshni looks confused. "This is about the budget," she says. She opens her own spreadsheet on the screen.

They both check the meeting invite again. The message says, "Let's cover hiring and budget together." Neither of them read it fully.

"We can do both today," Zane says. "Your numbers first, then my slides."

Roshni laughs and nods. "That actually makes sense," she says. "I almost missed half the email."

They spend the next hour on both topics. The meeting runs long but covers everything.

Their manager thanks them both at the end. "Great teamwork today," she says with a smile.
