Nour and Tomasz both reach for the last chocolate croissant at the bakery and decide to share it.

Nour walks up to the bakery counter. She looks at the last chocolate croissant on the shelf. At the same moment, another hand reaches for it too.
Nour se acerca al mostrador de la panadería. Mira el último cruasán de chocolate en el estante. En ese mismo momento, otra mano también se estira para tomarlo.
"Oh, sorry," the man says, and pulls his hand back. "You go ahead."
«Ay, perdón», dice el hombre, y retira la mano. «Tú primero».
"No, please," Nour says. "You were here first."
«No, por favor», dice Nour. «Tú llegaste primero».
They both step back and look at each other.
Ambos retroceden un paso y se miran.
"Let's split it," the man says. "I'm Tomasz."
«Vamos a partirlo», dice el hombre. «Soy Tomasz».
"Nour," she says. "That sounds fair."
«Nour», dice ella. «Me parece justo».
The woman behind the counter smiles and cuts the croissant in half. She wraps each piece and hands them over the counter.
La mujer detrás del mostrador sonríe y corta el cruasán a la mitad. Envuelve cada pedazo y se los entrega sobre el mostrador.
Nour and Tomasz sit down at a small table near the window. Each holds half a croissant and a cup of coffee.
Nour y Tomasz se sientan en una mesa pequeña cerca de la ventana. Cada uno sostiene medio cruasán y una taza de café.
"I almost never come here this early," Tomasz says. "I had an early meeting today."
«Casi nunca vengo tan temprano», dice Tomasz. «Hoy tuve una reunión temprano».
"I usually come at noon," Nour says. "Today I woke up early for no reason."
«Yo suelo venir al mediodía», dice Nour. «Hoy me desperté temprano sin ninguna razón».
They talk about the bakery's other pastries. They agree the chocolate croissant always sells out fast.
Hablan sobre los otros productos de la panadería. Están de acuerdo en que el cruasán de chocolate siempre se agota rápido.
"Next time, I'll come early and buy two," Tomasz says.
«La próxima vez, vendré temprano y compraré dos», dice Tomasz.
"Or we can just share again," Nour says with a smile.
«O simplemente podemos compartir otra vez», dice Nour con una sonrisa.
They finish their coffee. Tomasz asks for her number before they leave for work.
Terminan su café. Tomasz le pide su número antes de irse al trabajo.
