A fierce rabbit bullies a gentle rabbit and steals his carrot — until a man with a gun mistakes him for something else, with startling consequences.
This is a fierce bad Rabbit; look at his savage whiskers, and his claws and his turned-up tail.
这是一只凶狠的坏兔子，看看它那凶恶的胡须、爪子和翘起来的尾巴。
This is a nice gentle Rabbit. His mother has given him a carrot.
这是一只乖巧温顺的兔子。它妈妈给了它一根胡萝卜。
The bad Rabbit would like some carrot.
坏兔子很想要一些胡萝卜。
He doesn't say "Please." He takes it!
它不说“请”。它直接抢走了！
And he scratches the good Rabbit very badly.
而且它把好兔子抓伤得很厉害。
The good Rabbit creeps away, and hides in a hole. It feels sad.
好兔子悄悄溜走，躲进了一个洞里。它感到很难过。
This is a man with a gun.
这是一个拿着枪的男人。
He sees something sitting on a bench. He thinks it is a very funny bird!
他看见长椅上坐着什么东西。他以为那是一只非常滑稽的鸟！
He comes creeping up behind the trees.

And then he shoots—BANG!

This is what happens—

But this is all he finds on the bench, when he rushes up with his gun.

The good Rabbit peeps out of its hole,
