The Confused Delivery Robot

Bram sees a small delivery robot outside his building. It rolls in a slow circle near the curb. The robot beeps softly and stops again. Its wheels turn left, then turn right. It never picks one clear direction.

Bram melihat sebuah robot pengantar kecil di depan gedung tempat tinggalnya. Robot itu berputar pelan di dekat tepi jalan. Robot itu berbunyi bip lembut, lalu berhenti lagi. Rodanya berbelok ke kiri, lalu ke kanan. Robot itu tidak pernah memilih satu arah yang jelas.

Bram walks closer to take a look. A small screen on its side shows a map. The map shows a red dot, blinking and stuck.

Bram berjalan mendekat untuk melihatnya. Sebuah layar kecil di sisinya menampilkan peta. Di peta ada titik merah yang berkedip dan tidak bergerak.

"Are you lost, little robot?" Bram asks it. The robot beeps twice and turns toward him.

"Kamu tersesat, Robot Kecil?" tanya Bram. Robot itu berbunyi bip dua kali dan menghadap ke arahnya.

A message appears on its screen. "Error. Building entrance not found," it reads.

Sebuah pesan muncul di layarnya. "Kesalahan. Pintu masuk gedung tidak ditemukan," tulisnya.

Bram looks up at his own building. The main entrance sits around the corner. A tall hedge blocks it from the street.

Bram menengok ke gedungnya sendiri. Pintu masuk utama ada di balik sudut. Pagar tanaman yang tinggi menghalanginya dari jalan.

Bram checks the delivery number on the robot. It matches an order from his neighbor upstairs.

Bram memeriksa nomor pengiriman di robot itu. Nomornya cocok dengan pesanan tetangganya di lantai atas.

"I know where this goes," Bram says kindly. He taps a small button marked "Follow." The robot rolls slowly behind him.

"Aku tahu ke mana ini harus diantar," kata Bram dengan ramah. Ia menekan tombol kecil bertuliskan "Ikuti". Robot itu pun meluncur pelan di belakangnya.

Together, they walk around the tall hedge. The building entrance comes into view.

Bersama-sama, mereka berjalan mengitari pagar tanaman yang tinggi. Pintu masuk gedung mulai terlihat.

Bram stops at the front door. The robot beeps happily and opens its lid.

Bram berhenti di depan pintu. Robot itu berbunyi bip senang dan membuka tutupnya.

Bram lifts out a small package carefully. He carries it inside to the mailroom.

Bram mengangkat sebuah paket kecil dengan hati-hati. Ia membawanya masuk ke ruang surat.

The robot spins in a small, cheerful circle. Then it rolls away toward the street.

Robot itu berputar kecil dengan riang. Lalu ia meluncur pergi ke arah jalan.

Bram waves and watches it go. "Safe travels," he says with a smile. He wonders how many buildings confuse it each day. Maybe every hedge in town needs a trim.

Bram melambai dan memandanginya pergi. "Hati-hati di jalan," katanya sambil tersenyum. Ia bertanya-tanya berapa banyak gedung yang membingungkan robot itu setiap hari. Mungkin setiap pagar tanaman di kota ini perlu dipangkas.
