Sylvie walks home from work along Main Street. She looks down and sees a brown wallet on the ground. She picks it up and looks inside. There's a license with a photo and a name.
सिल्वी काम से मेन स्ट्रीट होते हुए पैदल घर जाती है। वह नीचे देखती है तो ज़मीन पर एक भूरा बटुआ पड़ा है। वह उसे उठाती है और अंदर देखती है। उसमें एक लाइसेंस है, जिस पर फ़ोटो और एक नाम है।
The wallet has some cash and a few cards inside. Sylvie decides to find the owner. The license shows an address nearby.
बटुए में कुछ नकदी और कुछ कार्ड हैं। सिल्वी तय करती है कि वह उसके मालिक को ढूँढेगी। लाइसेंस पर पास का ही एक पता लिखा है।
She walks three blocks to the address on the license. It's a small apartment building with red doors. She rings the bell for apartment 4B.
वह लाइसेंस पर लिखे पते तक तीन ब्लॉक पैदल चलती है। वह लाल दरवाज़ों वाली एक छोटी अपार्टमेंट बिल्डिंग है। वह अपार्टमेंट 4B की घंटी बजाती है।
A man opens the door. He looks worried and tired.
एक आदमी दरवाज़ा खोलता है। वह परेशान और थका हुआ दिखता है।
"Hello," Sylvie says. "Is your name Gideon?"
"नमस्ते," सिल्वी कहती है। "क्या आपका नाम गिडियन है?"
"Yes, that's me," he says. "Do I know you?"
"हाँ, मैं ही हूँ," वह कहता है। "क्या मैं आपको जानता हूँ?"
"I found your wallet on Main Street," Sylvie says.
"मुझे मेन स्ट्रीट पर आपका बटुआ मिला," सिल्वी कहती है।
Gideon's eyes open wide. "Really? I lost it an hour ago!"
गिडियन की आँखें फैल जाती हैं। "सच में? मैंने तो इसे एक घंटे पहले खोया था!"
"Here it is," Sylvie says. She hands him the wallet.
"ये लीजिए," सिल्वी कहती है। वह उसे बटुआ दे देती है।
Gideon checks inside. "Everything is here. Thank you so much."
गिडियन अंदर देखता है। "सब कुछ यहीं है। बहुत-बहुत शुक्रिया।"
"You're welcome," Sylvie says. "I'm glad I found it."
"कोई बात नहीं," सिल्वी कहती है। "मुझे ख़ुशी है कि यह मुझे मिल गया।"
"This is very kind of you," Gideon says. "Can I give you some money?"
"आपने बहुत भलाई की है," गिडियन कहता है। "क्या मैं आपको कुछ पैसे दे सकता हूँ?"
"No, that's okay," Sylvie says. "I'm just happy to help."
"नहीं, रहने दीजिए," सिल्वी कहती है। "मदद करके ही मुझे ख़ुशी हो रही है।"
Gideon smiles and shakes her hand. "Well, thank you again, Sylvie."
गिडियन मुस्कुराता है और उससे हाथ मिलाता है। "ठीक है, एक बार फिर शुक्रिया, सिल्वी।"
"Anytime," Sylvie says. "Have a good day, Gideon."

She turns and walks back down the street.
