The Paper Delivery Delay

When a paper delivery never arrives before a big print job, Giselle borrows enough from other floors to finish on time.
Giselle planned a big print job for Friday morning. The office ordered extra paper on Monday. The delivery truck never came.
She called the paper company at nine. "Your order is one week late," the worker said. Giselle's plan had a big problem now.
She checked the supply closet quickly. Only one small pack of paper sat there. It was not nearly enough.
Giselle walked around the building and asked other floors. The marketing team had one full box extra. The design team offered half a box too.
She carried both boxes back to her desk. She counted the sheets one more time. It was just enough for the whole job.
Giselle started the printer at ten sharp. Page after page came out clean and fast. She stacked them neatly into folders.
Her manager stopped by to check on the job. "I heard the paper never arrived," he said. "How did you manage?"
"I borrowed paper from two other teams," Giselle said. "The job finished right on schedule."
"Great thinking," her manager said. He picked up a folder and smiled.
Giselle packed up the folders for the client meeting.
