Helping with a Heavy Suitcase

Malik carries a stranger's heavy suitcase up the stairs at the train station.
Malik waits for his train at the station. He sees a woman near the stairs. She has a big, heavy suitcase. She tries to lift it up the stairs.
The suitcase is too heavy for her. She stops and takes a breath. Malik walks over to help.
"Do you need help?" Malik asks.
"Yes, please," Vera says. "This suitcase is very heavy."
"I can carry it for you," Malik says.
"Thank you. That's very kind," Vera says.
Malik picks up the suitcase. It feels heavy in his hands. He climbs the stairs slowly.
Vera walks next to him. She carries her small bag.
At the top, Malik sets the suitcase down.
"Here you are," he says.
"Thank you so much," Vera says. "You are very strong."
Malik smiles. "It's not a problem."
"What's your name?" Vera asks.
"My name is Malik," he says.
"I'm Vera. Thank you again, Malik."
Vera checks her ticket and looks at the board.
"My train leaves in ten minutes," she says.
"Okay! Have a good trip," Malik says.
Vera picks up her suitcase and walks to the platform.
