The Cycling Trip Storm

Sadie and Arlo had planned their cycling trip for months. It was a three-day ride between two coastal towns, with a proper route booked through small inns. The forecast had promised light rain for the second afternoon, nothing serious enough to worry about.

Sadie dan Arlo sudah merencanakan perjalanan bersepeda mereka selama berbulan-bulan. Arlo checked the weather app at their last rest stop and felt his stomach tighten. The storm that was supposed to arrive that evening was now forecast for early afternoon instead.

They rode hard, legs burning, as the first heavy drops started falling around them. The café, when they finally reached it, was warm and nearly empty. The owner seemed entirely unsurprised to see two soaked cyclists arrive at her door.

They waited out the worst of the storm over two cups of tea. They watched rain hammer the windows and listened to thunder roll across the water. Sadie called ahead to their inn, who happily moved their reservation back by two hours.
