Oona has new smart glasses. They are a gift from her sister. The glasses show a small name over each face.
ऊना के पास नए स्मार्ट चश्मे हैं। वे उसे उसकी बहन ने तोहफ़े में दिए हैं। चश्मे हर चेहरे के ऊपर एक छोटा-सा नाम दिखाते हैं।
Oona loves them. At home, they show the right names. They know her mom, her dad, and her cat. She smiles all day.
ऊना को वे बहुत पसंद हैं। घर पर वे सही नाम दिखाते हैं। वे उसकी माँ, उसके पापा और उसकी बिल्ली को पहचानते हैं। वह पूरे दिन मुस्कुराती रहती है।
Today is her first day at a new job. She wears the glasses to work. She wants to know every name.
आज उसकी नई नौकरी का पहला दिन है। वह चश्मा पहनकर काम पर जाती है। वह हर किसी का नाम जानना चाहती है।
At nine o'clock, a tall man walks into the room. He has a big smile. The glasses show a name over his head. It says "Jett".
नौ बजे एक लंबा आदमी कमरे में आता है। उसके चेहरे पर बड़ी मुस्कान है। चश्मा उसके सिर के ऊपर एक नाम दिखाता है। उस पर लिखा है "जेट"।
"Good morning, Jett!" Oona says. "Nice to meet you."
"सुप्रभात, जेट!" ऊना कहती है। "आपसे मिलकर अच्छा लगा।"
The man looks at her. The room is very quiet. Everyone stops and looks at Oona.
आदमी उसे देखता है। कमरे में बहुत शांति है। सब रुककर ऊना की ओर देखने लगते हैं।
"Jett?" the man says. "I am your new boss." Then he laughs. The whole room laughs with him.
"जेट?" आदमी कहता है। "मैं तुम्हारा नया बॉस हूँ।" फिर वह हँस पड़ता है। पूरा कमरा उसके साथ हँस पड़ता है।
Oona's face is red. She looks at the glasses. They say "Jett" again. She takes them off and puts them in her bag.
ऊना का चेहरा लाल हो जाता है। वह चश्मे की ओर देखती है। उस पर फिर से "जेट" लिखा है। वह उसे उतारकर अपने बैग में रख लेती है।
"I am very sorry," she says. "The glasses are wrong."
"मुझे बहुत अफ़सोस है," वह कहती है। "चश्मा ग़लत है।"
The boss sits down next to her. "Not a problem," he says. "I like new glasses. But I like real names more."
बॉस उसके बगल में बैठ जाता है। "कोई बात नहीं," वह कहता है। "मुझे नए चश्मे पसंद हैं। पर असली नाम मुझे ज़्यादा पसंद हैं।"
Oona looks at him and smiles. "Then please tell me," she says. "What is your name?"
ऊना उसकी ओर देखकर मुस्कुराती है। "तो फिर कृपया बताइए," वह कहती है। "आपका नाम क्या है?"
