On Saturday morning, a moving truck parked outside Briar's building. A new family carried boxes up the front steps all day. Briar watched from her window, curious about her new neighbors.
El sábado por la mañana, un camión de mudanzas se estacionó frente al edificio de Briar. Una familia nueva cargó cajas por las escaleras de la entrada todo el día. Briar observaba desde su ventana, curiosa por sus nuevos vecinos.
By afternoon, Briar noticed a girl about her age. The girl struggled with a heavy box. The girl set the box down and rested for a moment.
Por la tarde, Briar notó a una chica de su edad. La chica luchaba con una caja pesada. La chica bajó la caja y descansó un momento.
Briar grabbed her shoes and ran downstairs. "Can I help you carry that?" she asked. "Yes, please," the girl said. "This box is really heavy."

"I'm Briar. I live right upstairs." "I'm Celeste," the girl said. "We just moved from another city."

They carried the box up three flights of stairs together. When they finished, both girls felt tired and happy.
Cargaron la caja juntas por tres pisos de escaleras. Cuando terminaron, ambas se sentían cansadas y felices.
Celeste's mother thanked Briar warmly. "Thank you so much for your help," she said. Briar smiled and picked up another box from the truck.
La madre de Celeste le dio las gracias a Briar con calidez. «Muchas gracias por tu ayuda», dijo. Briar sonrió y tomó otra caja del camión.
That evening, all the boxes were finally inside. Celeste opened a pizza box on the living room floor. "Stay and eat with us," she said to Briar. "There's plenty for everyone."

Briar sat down on the floor with Celeste and her family. They ate pizza together, surrounded by unopened boxes.
